Monday 23/6/25. This marina is full of big fish constantly jumping, I have tried and failed to get a good photo of them, I need another camera for that. This one was the best I could get. I would love to know what they are, they're not mullet, which every marina is full of, because mullet only jump when they're disturbed, these fish look like they're doing it for fun.
Sunday 15th of June 2025. Heading for Cadiz tomorrow morning.
This is the Orca attack hotspot map. Hugging the coast is the thing to do to avoid them.
Tuesday 3rd of June 2025. La Linea.
La Linea marina. Booked in for 3 nights but will probably be here for 6. Thursday 5th. Another heatwave is on the way and my next port of call 'El Puerto de Santa Maria's is going to be 30c, so I think I'll stay here a bit longer where it's relatively cool.
Sunday 1st of June 2025. Gibraltar bay.
Anchored on the Algericas side as the wind turns west overnight. I saw my first whale at the entrance of the bay, a Fin or Pilot whale I assume. He surfaced twice but was gone before I could get close and take a picture. Nomad with the rock of Gibraltar in the distance.
